What Ingredients do you need to make a Blue Hawaii?
Vodka

White Rum

Rum is usually aged, and the container it’s aged in has a big say in its colour.
In bourbon or other wooden casks, the rum turns a dark brown colour, but in stainless steel tanks it stays colourless. Rum that’s been aged in wood can also be filtered to take the colour out.
White Rum is clear because it’s aged in stainless steel, or filtered after ageing.

Blue Curaçao
Blue Curaçao is a liqueur flavoured with the dried peel of the Laraha citrus fruit, which is then artificially coloured blue for effect.
It’s a great ingredient to use in cocktails because it pretty much has everything you could ever want as a cocktail mixer:

- It has a bitter orange taste that blends well with most flavours.
- It has a great amount of alcohol in it.
