What Ingredients do you need to make a Tropical Peach Soda?
Malibu
Malibu is a coconut-flavoured rum liqueur with an alcoholic volume of 21%.
Malibu is made from coconut, fruits, and spices and, interestingly, was originally created to make it easier for bartenders to make the ever-popular Piña Colada.
Peach Schnapps
Peach Schnapps is a peach-flavoured variant of the Schnapps alcoholic drink.
Schnapps may take several forms:
- Distilled Fruit Brandy.
- Herbal Liqueurs.
- Infusions – i.e. the process of extracting flavours from plant material in solvent such as water, oil, or in the case of Schnapps – alcohol.
- Flavour Liqueurs – this is where Peach Schnapps comes in.
The word Schnapps is a German term that refers to any kind of strong Alcoholic drink and over the years has become known as a style of drink. More about that here.

Cocktail Glass
This cocktail recipe tastes great, but let’s make it look great too.
Having the right glass for the right cocktail always makes the experience more enjoyable in my experience.
And the right glass is a cocktail glass.
We recommend:
Hawthorne Strainer
If you (or perhaps the person you’re buying for) don’t have a Hawthorne strainer as part of a cocktail shaker set, it’s a great, and incredibly useful, addition to your cocktail toolbox.
The strainer is typically used to remove the ice (or any other unwanted solid ingredients) from your cocktail as it’s poured from the cocktail shaker into your glass.
